The History of "4-TRACK RECORDINGS"

Well the main Band behind this is of course, THE MENTALS. The whole thing started in 1998, when the little half-assed shitty, punk/noise band, "No Talent" actually learned a few chords and started to seriously write, turning it into "songs."

They were about to take off in mid 1998 having spend hours upon hours writing, playing, jamming, recording, and writing.

They broke into the scene by getting a break showing up at "Punk Fest 98" put on by Pablo Sleeze of "Worm Suicide" & "Fat Cock Records" & being asked to play. All was looking good...

However all good stories have a grinch hiding behind the scenes somewhere, don't they all?

A semi-major car wreck put The Mentals on hold from about mid 1998 to 2000.

So Steve put together a collection of all the decent songs that they had recorded and started releasing them himself for the world to hear!

Finally in 2001 THE MENTALS were back Kicking Ass & Taking Names...
